Unprecedented times require an unprecedented response. And as COVID-19 grips our nation, that’s what Multiple Sclerosis Limited is hoping we’ll receive from the generous community we serve.

Even before the pandemic struck, our crucial MS Advisor service was already under severe pressure from a year-on-year increase in demand. More than 1,500 people contacted our small team of social workers and nurses last year, desperate for the emotional, practical and financial help they couldn't find anywhere else.

But those numbers pale into insignificance compared to what we are seeing right now, as vulnerable people like Amy Blore struggle for the care they need to see them through these challenging times.

Amy is a mum of three who was already isolated in her home long before the rest of us. She suffered a loss of confidence after her multiple sclerosis was initially misdiagnosed as a mental health issue. But with the help of her MS Advisor, she was well on the road to recovery—until with cruel timing the pandemic struck.
