Nobody with MS should have to do it alone.

Callers to MS Connect gain comforting support, an understanding ear and expert advice. It’s their gateway to physical, emotional and financial help throughout their lives with MS.

But demand for this essential service is growing every day.

MS is a lifelong disease that needs lifelong support. There are 25,000 people in Australia living with MS, and 10 more people are diagnosed each week.

Please help MS Connect raise the $51,783 needed before September 30 to meet the growing demand for its essential support services.

You’ll be helping mums like Lyndie.

When Lyndie was first diagnosed with MS in November last year, her first thought was of her four sons. She had no idea how to explain it to them when she didn’t have the information to properly understand it herself.

Then she spoke to MS Connect, and Lyndie’s frustration and confusion dissolved as she received the information and advice needed to feel hopeful for the future.

“MS Connect was my light in the dark. Having the skills from these people behind me, their experience and their expertise, I just don’t know where I would’ve been without it.”

Please help MS Connect be the light in the dark for more people like Lyndie with a kind gift today.

I have read and understood these Terms and Conditions in their entirety and agree to be bound by them.

Please help deeply vulnerable people like Karyn get the urgent care they are too ill to access by themselves.

This time last year, Karyn had not yet been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. But by August she was so sick she could barely talk, barely move and barely even breathe.

While many of us were trapped in our homes by the pandemic, Karyn was trapped in her bed. She was all but helpless and desperately needed funds to pay for urgent care and support. So she applied for a grant from the National Disability Insurance Scheme, imagining she would soon have the help she needed.

But because multiple sclerosis is such a complex condition to explain, and Karyn was so ill, her application was refused twice—leaving her fearing for her life.

Karyn might still be struggling alone today were it not for the compassion of people like you, whose donations enabled our Client Wellbeing team to work tirelessly with her to ensure her third application to the NDIS resulted in her finally accessing the financial, emotional and practical help she needs to rebuild her life.

The struggle Karyn faced to get support is one that hundreds of people living with multiple sclerosis experience every year. So we’re trying to raise $383,520 in order to help ensure no one has to face multiple sclerosis alone.

Please will you donate what you can today to help desperately ill people get the care they can’t access alone? For someone like Karyn, your gift could mean the difference between a good life, and one that’s almost too bleak to endure.

Thank you so much.
