Frightened and alone.

Please watch Matt Roger's brave video, and learn how people like you helped him live well with the uncertainty of multiple sclerosis.

Matt Roger was told he had multiple sclerosis just three days after learning his wife Sherree was pregnant with their first child. He asked his doctor whether the diagnosis would affect his ability to care for his children. But his doctor was unable to say anything other than, “I really don’t know”.

You see, no two journeys with multiple sclerosis are ever the same. And this uncertainty was the source of terrible stress for Matt and Sherree. To this day they wonder if the stress of this diagnosis contributed to the tragic miscarriage they later suffered.

It’s in order to help people cope with this terrible uncertainty that we created our MS Education Program. By offering online ‘Webinar’ education sessions, MS Family Wellness Days and advice from experts, this program helps people like Matt face up to multiple sclerosis without fear. It also ensures their partners, children and carers never have to cope with the disease alone.

However, like so many of the vital services Multiple Sclerosis Limited offers, our MS Education Program is 100 per cent funded by donations from people like you.

There are hundreds of people living across Australia who are living in fear of the uncertainty of multiple sclerosis. Please donate whatever you think appropriate right now, and help them take back control of their lives from this devastating disease.

Online Webinars

At a scheduled time, experts in multiple sclerosis speak for up to an hour on a specific topic related to living well with the disease. Those with MS, their family, carers and friends can tune in on their computers to listen in live to what they have to say.

Family Wellness Days

Community events are run every year and are a great way for those with MS and their families to network and educate themselves. These cover Family Camps, Wellness Days, Wellness Lunches and Community Days.

Health Professionals

The MS Education Program also provides information and guidance to health professionals whose patients have MS. We aim to provide up-to-date and relevant information so the health professional can provide a better service and those with MS can benefit.
